Got my big ass out of bed this morning to meet Lisa out at Wyandotte County Lake Park for the 'Psychodelic 5K' ice version. Like all the events the trail Nerds put on, this was a great one and an inexpensive way for me to go try my ankle out on the trails and see where I am at when it comes to steep hills and tough terrain. I am proud to say that I am intact and had a wonderful time.My training is starting to happen again. I have slowly been able to add in a few more miles here and there during the week so that I am almost feeling like intense hill and speed work might be a possibility in March and April. It is so good to be running again. Let's see if I can stay injury-free in 2010!
